Applications of Melt Filter Cartridges:

Melt filter cartridges are widely used in melt filters and related polymer processing equipment. Typical applications include:

- Spinning Equipment:

High-speed spinning machines, fine denier spinning machines, and spinning equipment for spunbond nonwoven fabrics are often equipped with melt filters. In spunbond production, a coarse filter is located between the screw extruder and the metering pump, and the spinning assembly contains a fine filter. Some melt filters can hold up to 17 cartridges per chamber.

- Continuous Melt Filters (CPF):

Used in the polymer industry for PET, PA, PP, etc., such as polyester filament and staple fiber spinning, or BOPET and BOPP film production. They typically have two filter chambers, switched by a three-way valve, and often use multiple pleated candle-shaped melt filter cartridges to construct a large-area filtration structure.

- Extruder Melt Filters:

Melt filters are required to remove impurities from molten materials such as plastics. For example, German companies like Wiemann and Shure have developed single or dual-channel plunger-type non-stop screen-changing filters suitable for extrusion processing, while Grenland's rotary disc filters are suitable for high-quality production extrusion scenarios such as chemical fiber drawing. All of these require matching melt filter cartridges of corresponding specifications.

- Aluminum alloy melt filtration equipment:

CFF filtration devices, deep bed filtration devices, and tubular filtration devices in aluminum alloy smelting and casting workshops are often equipped with a large number of ceramic foam melt filter cartridges, which can filter out non-metallic inclusions in the aluminum alloy melt and reduce defects such as ingot porosity and slag inclusions.

Xinxiang Deya focuses on the research and development and production of stainless steel melt filter elements. Leveraging the advantages of Xinxiang's filtration industry cluster, it creates high-quality filter elements suitable for extreme operating conditions. The products are made of high-quality stainless steel such as 304 and 316L, combined with argon arc welding technology and core filter materials such as sintered felt and woven mesh, possessing characteristics of high temperature resistance (up to 500℃), high pressure resistance (up to 30MPa), and corrosion resistance.
